On January 31, 2024, the Petroleum Development Support Base (PSB) joined hands with the Thai Maritime Enforcement Command Center Area 2 in conducting activities to raise public awareness in the protection of the country’s marine interests. The activities aimed to engage participants to help conserve and revive the country’s marine resources in a sustainable manner. During the activities, student and local communities were briefed about coastal problems and solutions. Participants also collected garbage and released 5 million baby horse-crabs to the sea. Captain Surangsan Kamglad, Deputy Director of the Thai Maritime Enforcement Command Center Area 2, presided over the activities at the Sala Luang Bon School area beach, Songkhla Province.
