Mrs. Natruedee Khositaphai, Executive Vice President, Strategy and Business Development Group of PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited or PTTEP, gave SDGs Talk special interview on the Global Compact Network Thailand’s "We Shift...World Change“ program. The interview focused on PTTEP’s implementation of projects in collaboration with various organizations to maximize the sustainable conservation of marine resources. PTTEP placed a strong emphasis on “Clean and Friendly Operation” workstream, utilizing technology to minimize negative impacts from petroleum exploration and production activities. For example, Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) was employed to inspect and maintain underwater equipment to reduce the risk of leaks and spills into the environment. Under “Ocean Health and Biodiversity Monitoring” workstream, PTTEP collaborated with various organizations such as the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources and Kasetsart University to support the implementation of ocean science in order to promote the conservation and rehabilitation of marine resources and ecosystems.
