On August 19, 2022, Ms. Suphachittra Thongchavee, Manager, Social Development Projects Section presided over the opening ceremony of the Khlong Khon Aquatic Animal Hatchery Learning Center in Samut Songkhram Province. Muang Samut Songkhram District Chief Attaphan Sanguansermsri presided over the opening ceremony and around 60 people from partner agencies and networks attended the ceremony.
The Khlong Khon Aquatic Animal Hatchery Learning Center Project is a joint effort between PTTEP and the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources, The Coastal Community and Network Management Division, Department of Marine and Coastal Resources Office No. 8 (Samut Sakhon). The project is the ninth learning center built out of a total of 19 Aquatic Animal Hatchery Learning Centers to be built across 17 provinces around the Gulf of Thailand.
