On June 8, 2022, PTTEP and the PTTEP Group together with the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources, state agencies, private sectors and community co-organized the World Oceans Day event at Laem Samila Beach, Songkhla Province and Panare Beach, Pattani Province to raise awareness and encourage people to understand the importance of Thai oceans and collaborate to help conserve and revive the marine resources in a sustainable manner.
Activities during the event included the release of aquatic animals such as green turtles, baby tiger prawns, baby blue crabs, beach clean-up and an exhibition on the conservation and rejuvenation of marine and coastal resources.
