Between December 24-25, 2022, PTTEP held an exhibition showcasing its CSR projects under the “Ocean for Life” strategy at the “4th MNRE Meets The Public Expo: Resources create value, Improve Quality of Life, Raise Awareness on Conserving the Environment, Move Towards Zero-Carbon Society”. The event was held by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment at Saiyat Buddhist Temple in Phetchaburi Province. Varawut Silpa-archa, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, presided over the opening ceremony.
PTTEP invited Ban Phanoen Seafood Processing Community Enterprise from Phetchaburi, Ban Hat Somboon Seafood Production and Processing Community Enterprise from Surat Thani, and the Pak Khlong Ban Krut Seafood Processing Community Enterprise from Prachuap Khiri Khan to the event. These communities are supported by PTTEP to enhance and add value to their seafood products.
The event also had other activities such as an exhibition showcasing projects by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, marketplace for eco-friendly products and services, and a seminar on geology and dinosaurs. More than 2,000 visitors attended the event.
