On May 27, 2023, Ms. Bussaban Cheencharoen, Vice President, Stakeholder Management and Social Responsibility Department represented PTTEP at an event for National Mangrove Forest Day 2023 and donated 200,000 baht in support of the event to Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment. Mr. Apichai Ekvanakun, Deputy Director-General and Acting Director-General of the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources, Mr. Passakorn Boonlayak, Governor of Krabi, and about 300 other participants from educational institutes and relevant networks attended the event at Thom District, Krabi Province. There were many activities during the event such as planting trees in a mangrove forest, releasing aquatic animals and an “Ocean for Life” exhibition. PTTEP, moreover, donated 2,600 polo shirts made from recycled plastic bottles for use in various activities of the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources such as National Mangrove Forest Day 2023, World Ocean Day events will be held in Rayong Province on June 8, 2023, and other activities of the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources.
